Yet the OEM intake leaves performance on the table, with a convoluted air path and a restrictively small opening.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInfinity Design took a radical approach: a large, expanding inlet tube with an integrated MAF housing feeding a completely redesigned airbox with significantly greater volume and an 80% enlarged opening. Our signature double-cone, large surface-area air filter with a 175 mm opening sits inside the housing, with the whole system clamped together for a secure, OEM-style fit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is lower, more consistent intake air temperatures, allowing the engine to make more power and crucially hold that power under hard driving. Every part is manufactured from 100% pre-preg autoclave carbon fibre and requires no ECU tuning.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003ePerformance Testing\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eDyno testing was carried out under strict controlled conditions on an independent Maha MSR500 dynamometer. The stock car produced 330 BHP; after fitting the Infinity Design intake the same car produced 347 BHP — a clear, repeatable gain of 17 BHP. Power and torque increase consistently from 2,500–7,000 rpm, with a notable step at 5,500 rpm.
