We crushed the competition by including a steel bearing in the larger bushing, preventing the gear selector from binding while it moved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe raise the bar again with our new Competition shifter cable bushings. \u003cstrong\u003eModern materials for modern cars!\u003c\/strong\u003e Our Competition bushings are injection molded black Delrin, extremely durable (high cyclic fatigue resistance) from both impacts and chemicals. Safe to operate in environments up to 250*F, these bushings are rated to withstand greater forces than the cables themselves. The center bushing is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in a protective anodized finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnother benefit to our new bushings is their corrosion resistance, meaning they will not rust. Not only are these bushings stronger than the last version, but they're also easier to install.
