SBX Performance Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

SBX Performance fulfills orders through two primary methods.

A) SBX In-Stock Items (Ships from SBX)

  • Most in-stock orders ship within 1–4 business days after payment clears.
  • Processing time may vary depending on order volume or peak sales periods.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing on the next business day.
  • Tracking information is emailed once the shipment is processed by the carrier.
  • Typical U.S. delivery time: 3–7 business days after shipment (estimates only).

B) Direct-Ship / Special Order Items (Ships from Brand Warehouse)

Certain products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, including international facilities.

  • These items do not follow the SBX in-stock 1–4 business day processing window.
  • Orders are processed according to the brand’s business days and local time zone.
  • Additional transit time and customs clearance may apply.
  • Orders may appear as “unfulfilled” while the supplier processes the shipment.

Direct-ship suppliers may include but are not limited to:

  • Funk Motorsport
  • AIRTEC Motorsport
  • Infinity Design
  • MST Performance (Taiwan)
  • AXIS Parts
  • PracWorks

2. Backorders & Lead Times

Backorders and production lead times are common within the automotive performance industry.

  • Estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturer.
  • SBX Performance does not guarantee ETAs.
  • Manufacturers may change production timelines without notice.

3. Shipping Speed Disclaimer

All delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Shipping delays may occur due to:

  • shipping carrier delays
  • weather events
  • customs inspections
  • peak shipping seasons
  • third-party warehouse processing

SBX Performance is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, or third-party warehouses.

4. Cancellations & Order Changes

Cancellation requests must be reviewed and approved by SBX Performance before being processed.

  • Orders must be confirmed as not shipped before cancellation is approved.
  • Orders already released to the warehouse or shipping carrier cannot be canceled.

Cancellation Fees

Approved cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.

This fee may cover non-recoverable costs including:

  • supplier cancellation fees
  • payment processing fees
  • administrative costs
  • packaging and handling

Refunds are issued after shipment status has been confirmed. Please allow 3–7 business days for refund processing once approved.

5. Tariffs, Duties, VAT & Import Fees

International shipments may be subject to import duties, tariffs, VAT, brokerage fees, or customs charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in product pricing or shipping costs unless explicitly stated during checkout and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

SBX Performance has no control over customs charges and cannot determine the amount assessed by government authorities.

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties or customs charges and returned to SBX Performance or the overseas manufacturer, any refund may be reduced by shipping charges, supplier fees, handling fees, and other non-recoverable costs.

SBX Performance does not mark shipments as gifts or intentionally undervalue items.

6. Domestic Shipping Rates (United States)

  • Orders up to $399.99: $14.99 flat rate
  • Orders $400 and up: FREE shipping (exclusions apply)

Free shipping exclusions may include:

  • oversized or freight shipments
  • international orders
  • Hawaii or Puerto Rico shipments
  • certain direct-ship or import brands

7. Oversized & Freight Shipping

Large items such as exhaust systems, aero components, or oversized parts may require freight shipping.

Freight shipping costs will be displayed at checkout when available. If a rate adjustment is required after checkout, SBX Performance will contact the customer for approval before shipment.

8. International Shipping

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout and paid by the customer.

  • International orders do not qualify for free shipping promotions.
  • Customs processing may delay delivery.
  • Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Hawaii & Puerto Rico

Shipping carriers often apply higher rates to Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Additional shipping charges may apply and may not always calculate accurately at checkout. If a rate adjustment is required, we will contact the customer before shipment.

10. Special Order & Made-to-Order Items

Products marked as Special Order or Made-to-Order may:

  • have extended processing or manufacturing lead times
  • ship directly from the manufacturer
  • be considered final sale once submitted to the supplier

Once a special order has been submitted to the supplier, it may no longer be canceled, refunded, or modified.

11. Lost, Damaged or Delayed Shipments

SBX Performance is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit unless shipping protection was selected at checkout.

We will assist customers with documentation required for shipping carrier claims, however final claim decisions are made by the carrier.
