Shipping Protection (Optional)
SBX Performance offers optional Shipping Protection at checkout to help cover certain shipping-related issues that may occur after an order leaves our facility.
What Shipping Protection May Cover
If Shipping Protection is purchased, eligible claims may include:
- Packages lost in transit
- Packages stolen after delivery
- Items damaged during shipping
If a claim is submitted, SBX Performance will work with the shipping carrier and/or protection provider to investigate the claim. If approved, a replacement item will be issued in accordance with this policy.
Claim resolution timelines vary depending on carrier investigations, documentation requirements, and product availability. SBX Performance cannot guarantee specific claim processing timelines.
Opting Out of Shipping Protection
Shipping Protection is optional. If you choose not to purchase Shipping Protection at checkout:
- SBX Performance is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit once the shipment is marked picked up, in transit, or delivered by the carrier.
- The customer assumes full responsibility for resolving delivery issues with the shipping carrier.
- Customers may need to file shipping claims directly with the carrier.
Packages Marked Delivered but Not Received
If your tracking information shows Delivered but the package has not been received, please complete the following steps before contacting SBX Performance:
- Check all delivery locations (porch, mailbox, garage, side doors, etc.)
- Ask household members or neighbors
- Confirm the shipping address entered at checkout

For stolen deliveries, documentation such as a police report or written statement may be required to process a claim.
Replacement & Claim Resolution
Approved Shipping Protection claims are fulfilled with replacement items only. Refunds are not issued for shipping protection claims.
- Replacement shipments will be provided when applicable.
- SBX Performance may require documentation such as photos, packaging images, delivery confirmation, or police reports.
- Claims may be denied if documentation is insufficient or if fraud is suspected.
Manufacturer Warranty Coverage
Products sold by SBX Performance are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, which varies depending on the brand.
SBX Performance does not provide additional warranties unless explicitly stated on the product listing.
Warranty Assistance
SBX Performance may assist customers with warranty claim communication when possible. However, warranty approvals, timelines, and final decisions are determined solely by the manufacturer.
Installation Disclaimer
Performance automotive parts should be installed by a qualified professional or licensed mechanic. Improper installation is a common cause of product issues.
SBX Performance strongly recommends professional installation by an experienced performance shop or technician.
Installation-related issues are not considered product defects and may void manufacturer warranty coverage.
SBX Performance is not responsible for labor costs, installation fees, diagnostic charges, towing, downtime, or other incidental or consequential costs associated with product installation or use.
