Warranty & Shipping Protection

SBX Performance is committed to a transparent and reliable purchasing experience. This policy explains optional Shipping Protection, shipping-risk responsibility, proof of delivery, and manufacturer warranty support. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Shipping Protection with Navidium

SBX Performance offers optional Shipping Protection powered by Navidium at checkout for 3% of your order total. Shipping Protection is optional and must be actively selected by the customer during checkout.

What Shipping Protection Covers Shipping Protection may cover packages lost in transit, stolen after confirmed delivery, or damaged during shipping — subject to the documentation requirements in this policy, Navidium’s terms, and the claim review and approval process.
Third-Party Claim Administration Once purchased, Navidium independently manages claim intake, review, approval, denial, and fulfillment. SBX Performance does not control Navidium claim outcomes, timelines, or coverage decisions. Coverage is not a guarantee of payout and remains subject to the eligibility requirements in this policy.

Your Protection Choice at Checkout

Shipping Protection is completely optional. Customers must actively choose to add it or decline it during checkout. Your selection determines who bears the risk after the package is transferred to the carrier.

With Shipping Protection

  • Lost in transit may be covered by Navidium
  • Stolen after delivery may be covered, with a police report
  • Transit damage may be covered by Navidium
  • Claims are filed directly with Navidium
  • Resolution is subject to Navidium terms
  • Protection is independent of SBX return policy

Without Shipping Protection

  • Lost in transit is not covered by SBX Performance
  • Stolen after delivery is not covered by SBX Performance
  • Transit damage is not covered by SBX Performance
  • Claims must be pursued directly with the carrier
  • Carrier decisions are outside SBX control
  • Customer assumes shipping-related risk after carrier acceptance
Liability When Protection Is Declined If Shipping Protection is declined at checkout, the customer acknowledges and agrees that SBX Performance is not liable for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered after the shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

All risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier acceptance of the shipment.

Proof of Delivery & Order Fulfillment

The carrier’s tracking record is the controlling record of delivery for every order. Any one or more of the following constitutes conclusive proof of delivery and order fulfillment to the address entered at checkout:

  • A carrier delivery scan with date and time stamp
  • Carrier GPS coordinates placing delivery at or near the shipping address
  • A carrier-captured delivery photograph showing the package at the delivery location
  • A carrier signature record, where signature confirmation was applied
Confirmed Delivery Completes Your Order Once the carrier marks your package “Delivered” to the address entered at checkout — with or without a delivery photograph — SBX Performance has fulfilled your order in full and risk of loss has transferred to you. No refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued for any package reported missing after a confirmed delivery scan. A carrier delivery photograph showing the package at your address is, on its own, sufficient proof of delivery.
Your Responsibility It is the customer’s responsibility to enter a complete, accurate, and secure shipping address and to arrange safe receipt of the package. SBX Performance is not responsible for losses caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or unsecured delivery address provided at checkout. SBX Performance reserves the right to require carrier signature confirmation on higher-value orders at no additional charge.

Packages Marked Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows Delivered but you have not received the package, complete the following steps before contacting SBX Performance:

Check all delivery locations including porch, mailbox, garage, side entrance, leasing office, and surrounding areas.

Ask household members, neighbors, or building staff whether they accepted the package on your behalf.

Confirm the shipping address entered at checkout was complete and accurate.

Wait until the end of the delivery day, as carriers sometimes scan packages early before final drop-off.

If the issue is still unresolved, follow the correct path below based on whether the package was lost in transit or stolen after delivery.
Lost in Transit — No Delivery Scan If tracking never reached “Delivered” (lost, stuck, or mis-routed by the carrier), the package is treated as lost in transit. If Shipping Protection was purchased, file a Navidium claim; if it was declined, the claim must be pursued directly with the carrier. A police report is not required for a package that was never delivered.
Stolen After Delivery — Police Report Mandatory If the package shows a confirmed carrier delivery scan and/or delivery photograph but is reported stolen, an official police report is mandatory. No claim — including any Navidium Shipping Protection claim — will be reviewed, refunded, or replaced without it. To be eligible for review, the customer must provide all of the following:

• An official police report filed with the customer’s local law enforcement agency, including a case / report number, agency name, and date filed;
• A report identifying a delivery address that matches the address on the order; and
• A signed statement attesting the package was not received and has not been recovered.

Filing a false police report or a false claim of non-receipt is a crime. SBX Performance reserves the right to deny any claim and to report fraudulent claims to law enforcement and the card network.

Shipping Claim Resolution

If You Purchased Shipping Protection File your claim directly with Navidium using the claims link or process provided on the website. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and all required documentation — including a police report for any stolen-after-delivery claim.
If You Declined Shipping Protection You must pursue any shipping-related claim directly with the carrier. SBX Performance is not responsible for coordinating, reviewing, funding, or resolving carrier claims when Shipping Protection was declined.
  • Navidium claims are independently reviewed and decided by Navidium, not by SBX Performance
  • Stolen-after-delivery claims require an official police report with a case number; claims without one will be denied (see Section 4)
  • A carrier delivery photo showing the package at your address is valid proof of delivery and grounds to deny a “not received” claim
  • SBX Performance may provide order documentation when reasonably requested, but does not approve or deny claims
  • Claims may be denied if documentation is incomplete, deadlines are missed, or fraud is suspected
  • Claim processing times are controlled by the carrier or Navidium and are not guaranteed by SBX Performance
  • Shipping Protection is separate from and does not modify SBX Performance’s return, refund, or warranty policies
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes Filing a payment dispute or chargeback for a package with confirmed carrier delivery — instead of following the claim process in this policy — is considered illegitimate (“friendly fraud”). SBX Performance will contest any such dispute with full delivery evidence, including the carrier tracking record, delivery scan, GPS data, delivery photograph, signature record where applicable, and your acceptance of this policy at checkout. SBX Performance reserves the right to recover its costs and to refuse future service.

Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Products sold by SBX Performance are generally covered only by the original manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Warranty coverage terms, exclusions, duration, and remedies vary by brand and product.

Warranty Assistance SBX Performance may assist customers with warranty communication when possible, but warranty approvals, denials, timelines, replacement decisions, and final remedies are determined solely by the manufacturer.
No Additional SBX Warranty SBX Performance does not provide any separate product warranty beyond what is explicitly offered by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated in writing on the product listing.

Installation Disclaimer

Performance automotive parts should be installed by a qualified professional or experienced technician familiar with the specific application. Improper installation, tuning, setup, or supporting modifications may cause product failure, vehicle damage, drivability issues, or void manufacturer warranty coverage.

Professional Installation Recommended SBX Performance strongly recommends installation by a licensed mechanic or experienced performance shop familiar with the platform and product type.
Costs Not Covered by SBX Performance SBX Performance is not responsible for labor costs, installation fees, tuning fees, diagnostic charges, towing, rental vehicles, vehicle downtime, lost use, or any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages related to installation, removal, or use of any product.

Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a manufacturer warranty claim through SBX Performance assistance, contact us with the following:

  • Order number
  • Product name and brand
  • Clear written description of the issue
  • Photos or video showing the defect or problem
  • Any supporting installation or diagnostic information requested by the manufacturer
Submit Warranty Requests To Email sales@sbxperformance.com with the required documentation to reduce delays in forwarding the claim for review.
Warranty Review Is Not Automatic Approval Submission of a warranty request does not guarantee warranty coverage, refund, replacement, or reimbursement. All warranty outcomes remain subject to manufacturer review and approval.
