By checking the box at checkout and completing a purchase on sbxperformance.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full, including all policies relating to product use, fitment, shipping, proof of delivery, cancellations, returns, chargebacks, and Shipping Protection.
Performance Products Disclaimer
Products sold by SBX Performance are aftermarket performance components. Installation and use may affect vehicle reliability, drivability, emissions compliance, manufacturer warranties, and long-term component life. Professional installation and, where applicable, proper ECU calibration are strongly recommended.
Limitation of Liability
SBX Performance shall not be liable for damages, failures, drivability concerns, emissions violations, mechanical issues, or any other consequences resulting from:
- Improper installation, tuning, calibration, or setup
- Misuse, abuse, negligent operation, or racing use
- Operation outside manufacturer specifications or intended use
- Use of incompatible parts, modifications, or supporting components
Off-Road / Motorsport Use Only
Many products sold by SBX Performance are intended for off-road, racing, or competition use only unless explicitly stated otherwise. Certain products, including but not limited to catless downpipes, race exhaust components, ECU tuning devices, and emissions-related modifications, may not be legal for use on public roads.
Customer Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws
- SBX Performance does not guarantee street legality unless explicitly stated on the product listing
- SBX Performance is not responsible for inspection failures, emissions violations, citations, fines, or any legal consequences
California Proposition 65 & Emissions Compliance
The purchaser assumes full responsibility for compliance with all emissions regulations, registration rules, and vehicle laws in their jurisdiction.

Delivery Estimates
All shipping times, transit times, and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. SBX Performance is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping carriers, customs, weather, peak seasons, inventory discrepancies, freight scheduling, address issues, or other events outside our control.
International Duties, Tariffs & Import Fees
Refused Shipments
If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or import fees and is returned to SBX Performance or the manufacturer, any refund may be reduced by shipping, return shipping, handling, supplier penalties, and other non-recoverable costs.
Order Accuracy & Fitment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for verifying all order details before completing a purchase, including shipping address, vehicle year, model, trim, transmission, engine configuration, product selection, compatibility, and fitment.
Backorders & Special Orders
- Manufacturer estimated arrival times and lead times are estimates only and may change without notice
- SBX Performance does not guarantee manufacturer or supplier ETAs
- Products labeled Special Order, Direct-Ship, Made-to-Order, or Backordered may have extended lead times and may be final sale
- Availability, restock schedules, and production timelines are controlled by the supplier or manufacturer
Order Cancellations
- Cancellation requests are subject to a 20% cancellation or restocking fee
- Once an order has been submitted to a supplier, packed, released to a warehouse, or transferred to a carrier, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation or modification
- Special Order, Direct-Ship, and Made-to-Order products are final sale once submitted to the supplier
- Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable if an order is canceled
Returns & Refunds
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. Items must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and returned in original packaging with all included hardware and documentation.
- Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to SBX Performance error or a verified defect
- Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law or due to SBX Performance error
- Refunds apply to the product price only, less applicable fees and non-recoverable charges
- Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
Proof of Delivery & Shipping Protection
Proof of Delivery & Transfer of Risk
The carrier’s tracking record is the controlling record of delivery for every order. A delivery scan, timestamp, GPS data, delivery photograph, or signature record from the carrier constitutes conclusive proof of delivery and order fulfillment to the address entered at checkout.
Shipping Protection with Navidium
SBX Performance offers optional Shipping Protection powered by Navidium at checkout. Shipping Protection is optional and must be actively selected or declined by the customer during checkout.
All risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier acceptance of the shipment.
Lost in Transit vs. Stolen After Delivery
• An official police report with a case / report number, agency name, and date filed;
• A report identifying a delivery address that matches the order; and
• A signed statement attesting the package was not received and has not been recovered.
Filing a false police report or false claim of non-receipt is a crime. SBX Performance reserves the right to deny any claim and to report fraudulent claims to law enforcement and the card network.
Examples of Customer-Assumed Shipping Risk
- Packages marked delivered but reported missing
- Packages stolen after delivery (subject to the police-report requirement above)
- Damage occurring during transit (report within 48 hours with photos)
- Carrier delays, routing issues, or misdelivery
- Claims denied by the carrier or third-party protection provider
- Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable under all circumstances including cancellations, returns, refusals, exchanges, and disputes
- Navidium independently reviews and processes all Shipping Protection claims
- Stolen-after-delivery claims require an official police report with a case number; a carrier delivery photo showing the package at the address is grounds to deny a “not received” claim
- Claims may be denied if documentation is insufficient, timelines are missed, or fraud is suspected
- Customers who purchased Shipping Protection should use the Navidium Claims button on the website to submit claims directly
Pricing Policy
SBX Performance strives to maintain accurate pricing and inventory information. However, errors may occasionally occur. SBX Performance reserves the right to correct pricing errors, cancel affected orders, limit quantities, and issue refunds for unavailable or incorrectly listed items. Orders are not considered accepted until payment has been processed and the order has been confirmed and/or shipped.
Privacy & Payment Security
- Customer information is used solely to process orders, provide customer service, and improve the shopping experience
- SBX Performance does not sell customer data to third parties
- Payment information is securely processed through third-party payment providers and is never stored directly by SBX Performance
Agreement to Terms
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms listed in this document. These Terms & Conditions supplement SBX Performance’s Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. Use of this website and purchase of any product constitutes full acceptance of these policies.
Customer Acknowledgement
By checking the box at checkout, I acknowledge and agree that:

- Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed
- Special Order, Direct-Ship, Backordered, and Made-to-Order items may be final sale and may not be cancelable once submitted to the supplier
- Returns may be subject to restocking fees, non-refundable original shipping charges, and other non-recoverable costs
- I am responsible for verifying fitment, compatibility, address accuracy, and order details before completing my purchase
- If my package is confirmed delivered by the carrier — by scan and/or delivery photo — my order is fulfilled and I am not entitled to a refund, replacement, or credit for a package later reported missing
- Any stolen-after-delivery claim requires an official police report with a case number; without it, no claim or protection payout will be issued
- If I decline Shipping Protection, I accept full responsibility for any package lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered after it is transferred to the carrier
- All risk of loss transfers to me once the carrier accepts the shipment
- Filing a chargeback on a package with confirmed carrier delivery is friendly fraud and will be contested with full delivery evidence
I understand that SBX Performance will not be held liable for shipping-related issues after carrier delivery, and after carrier acceptance if Shipping Protection is declined.
