One of the most challenging intake systems Infinity Design has designed and manufactured to date, and the brand's showcase product. The BMW E60 M5 CSL has always captivated S85 owners, its centrepiece being the single-piece carbon plenum with larger side inlets running AlphaN software — a part that was never available to buy. Rather than make another carbon plenum that simply replaces the OEM for noise alone, Infinity Design went the extra distance to give enthusiasts something special for one of the last truly great naturally aspirated engines.
The 100% pre-preg carbon fibre plenum was designed in CAD using accurate 3D scans of the engine and engine bay without the OEM plenum in place, and of both individual OEM plenums, then combined into a single larger-volume plenum. At the core of the design is its modularity — key to functionality, fitment, multiple upgrade paths and a lower price.
In OEM side-inlet form the plenum fits the OEM intake (or any intake that fits the OEM plenum), and can later be upgraded by fitting the larger CSL intake kit. The CSL side inlets are over 100% larger in cross-sectional area than OEM, allowing maximum airflow, and form part of the full CSL intake kit, which can be bought from the outset or added later.
Ten carbon velocity stacks with aluminium base plates are supplied — similar to OEM but with a 10% larger opening and reoriented to face the inlets. Ten CNC-machined throttle-body adapters fit from below the plenum and bolt through the carbon into the velocity stacks for a strong, thorough seal.
The induction sound is beyond anything else on the market. Multiple reports from the initial pre-production batch showed more usable torque, improved 60–130 mph times and improved power on dyno testing, with sensational under-bonnet looks.

Lost or Damaged Shipments:

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days of purchase your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
-Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused and in original packaging.
-Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the product is defective.
-Refunds processed within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
