Wiring is where K-swaps stall out. Not because it's impossible, but because sourcing the right harness, the right ECU, the right sensor, and the right grounds from four different places is tedious and easy to get wrong. This package puts all of it in one box, and every piece is chosen to work with the others. Built for swapping a chassis where no plug-and-play conversion harness exists, from a DA Integra or a Prelude to a full tube chassis race car.
The engine harness shown in the product photos is not the current Hybrid Racing harness. This package now ships with our own Tucked K-Swap Engine Harness. Updated photography is coming, but what you'll receive is the Hybrid Racing harness described below.
Five components, each doing a specific job in the system.
Hybrid Racing Tucked K-Swap Engine Harness. Our own harness, built around 02-04 RSX and K20A2 wiring, with clean tucked routing, factory Honda wire colors, and machine testing before it ships.
Hondata K-Pro V4 ECU. Tuning for the engine and, just as importantly, the thing that gets you past the factory immobilizer, which is a major hurdle on any swap.
Hybrid Racing K-Swap Conversion Harness. Ties the ECU to the engine harness, wideband sensor, instrument cluster, and chassis wiring.
Denso Wideband Primary O2 Sensor. Fresh rather than reused, so your tuner isn't chasing bad data from a tired sensor.
Hybrid Racing K-Swap Ground Kit. The unglamorous piece that prevents a long list of problems.
Our Tucked K-Swap Engine Harness is built around 2002-2004 RSX and K20A2 wiring and sits between a budget replacement and a full motorsports harness.
It uses AVSS thin-wall automotive wire built to JASO D611, with OEM Honda color and stripe patterns throughout. That last detail matters more than it sounds. When you're troubleshooting at midnight, being able to pull up a factory service manual and trace exactly what you're holding is worth a great deal over a harness in generic colors.
The injector and VSS connections live on removable adapter harnesses, so if your injectors or transmission change later, you swap an adapter rather than cutting into the main loom. K24 crank and knock sensor connectors come in the box, and there are three spare circuits routed through unused C101 positions for whatever you add down the road.
Every harness is machine tested against the production pin-to-pin wiring map for incorrect connections, opens, and shorts before it leaves the building.
The K-Pro is a modified 2002-2004 Honda ECU that connects to a Windows laptop, and it's what turns a swapped engine into a tunable one.
KManager gives you fuel and ignition control, VTEC and VTC tuning, flex fuel support for E85, input monitoring, and data logging. There are provisions for boost control, nitrous, and other outputs as the build develops.
Beyond tuning, it solves the immobilizer problem. A factory ECU in a swapped chassis expects to see a key and security system that isn't there, and the K-Pro gets you past that.
This bundle requires you to send in your own ECU for K-Pro conversion. Compatible cores are PRB (A01-A12 and 305), PND (A01-A09), PNF, PRA, PRC (JDM DC5 Integra Type R), PRD, PPA (A0# and A5#), and PPL (A0# and A5#).
This is what connects everything to your car. It's built with connectors, terminals, and wire from the same supplier Honda uses, ordered in bulk from Japan.
Included on board are a fuel pump relay, main relay, and primary oxygen sensor relay, plus a provision wired for the included Denso wideband. Outputs cover tachometer, speedometer, low oil pressure warning, malfunction indicator, fan control, fuel pump control, and starter relay.
Add a constant and switched 12V source and the system is powered and ready.
Grounds are the least interesting part of an electrical system and among the most important. Without good ground connections there's nowhere for current to go, and the symptoms are maddening: faulty sensor readings, electronics failing early, and problems that come and go with no obvious cause.
On a swapped car that's worse, because you've already introduced enough variables without wondering whether a ground is at fault. The kit gives you proper length and proper connections rather than cutting and splicing to make something reach.
Anyone K-swapping a chassis with no plug-and-play option. Preludes, DA Integras, Accords, older Honda chassis, or a tube frame race car. If a conversion harness exists for your chassis, buy that instead. If one doesn't, this is the complete answer.
It's built around the K20A and K20A2. Other K-series engines will work but may require changing sensors or sensor connectors.
Universal K-swap applications with K20A or K20A2 engines. Intended for chassis without a plug-and-play conversion harness available.
This is for the builder who wants the wiring sorted properly rather than assembled from whatever showed up in four separate orders. Every component here is chosen to work with the others, which removes the compatibility guesswork that makes swap wiring miserable. Send in your ECU core, get the package, and get the engine running.
Includes: Hybrid Racing Tucked K-Swap Engine Harness, Hondata K-Pro V4 ECU, Hybrid Racing K-Swap Conversion Harness, Denso wideband primary O2 sensor, and Hybrid Racing K-Swap Ground Kit. Built for: K20A and K20A2 engines in chassis without a plug-and-play conversion harness. Note: requires you to send in a compatible ECU core for K-Pro conversion. Product photos do not yet show the current Hybrid Racing engine harness.
