S&B 2015-2017 Ford F-150 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost Cold Air Intake

The factory airbox on the 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 is built around cost and packaging, not performance. It restricts airflow, pulls warm air from inside the engine bay, and leaves horsepower on the table. The S&B intake (part 75-5081) replaces the entire factory assembly with a larger-diameter tube and an oversized filter that has been ISO 5011-tested to flow 43.10% better than stock. The fully enclosed airbox is not just a heat shield in name only. It seals with a silicone edge trim and uses a larger-than-stock silicone air scoop to pull a consistent column of cooler air from outside the hot engine compartment. The filter, coupler, tube seal, and scoop are all made from premium silicone rubber, rated to handle temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) without cracking or degrading.

Installation is straightforward. S&B's snap-in lid design ditches the screws entirely, so the box opens quickly for filter inspections or cleaning without digging for tools. The entire kit uses factory mounting points and is designed to fit the 2015-2017 F-150 and F-150 Raptor without modification. The kit carries a CARB exemption (D-590-16) and is street legal across all 50 states. The oiled cotton cleanable filter is washable and reusable, giving you long-term value without the cost of replacement filters.
