SBD's Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotors + Street Spec Brake Pads for the 2007-2024 R35 Nissan GT-R. We recommend our CCM (carbon ceramic) discs for street and track/race use.

  • Manufactured from 3D woven long fiber carbon ceramic material.
  • 100% plug-and-play with ZERO modifications required in factory sizing.
  • 50% weight reduction from your factory iron rotors — a massive drop in rotating mass for the drag strip and road course.
  • For street cars: 2-3x the lifespan of iron rotors, increased fuel economy from less rotational weight, and a near dust-free experience.
  • Rotors include 7075-T6 billet aluminum hats with new bobbins hardware.

Rotor sizes available:

  • 390mm front rotors for 2012-2024 GT-R (DBA)
  • 380mm rear rotors for 2007-2024 GT-R (all year models)

If you are a 2007-2011 CBA owner and wish to run 2012-2024 DBA spec 390mm front rotors, we will include the 6mm caliper spacers free of charge ($145.95 value) — please request in the order notes.

SBD Street Spec carbon ceramic brake pads available: front pads for 380mm/390mm rotors and rear pads for 380mm rotors (all year models).

Note: If you have not upgraded to stainless steel brake lines, this is a mandatory upgrade when doing a carbon ceramic brake conversion.

Why T700 carbon ceramic

  • High strength-to-weight ratio. T700 carbon fiber (~4900 MPa tensile strength, ~230 GPa modulus) — roughly 40% higher tensile strength than T300-based rotors.
  • Superior thermal resistance. Stable at operating temperatures over 1000C; typical SBD rotor temperature stays around 500C even in intensive street use.
  • Improved heat dissipation. A directional vane design gives a 5-10% faster cooling rate from 500C than competitors.
  • Exceptional durability. 3-5x the life of conventional iron rotors; over 350,000 miles of normal use. Tested to 7000 rpm wheel speed (equivalent to 300 mph) without damage.
  • Corrosion resistance. 480-hour continuous 5% NaCl salt spray test at 35C with no surface or weight change.
  • Noise and vibration damping for a quieter, smoother braking experience.
  • Consistent friction coefficient across temperature ranges.

Rotors are priced in 2 pieces (1 pair) or as a complete set of 4 pieces.

Note: There are serial numbers on the rotors — install the rotor rotation properly as they have directional vanes. An odd serial number means the driver side; an even number means the passenger side.
